Custom Stone Countertops – Quartz, Granite, Marble &  Quartzite

Let’s Talk Countertops (Because You Deserve Better Than Basic)

Most people don’t wake up thinking, “Today’s the day I choose a countertop.” But when it’s time, it suddenly feels like a big deal—because it is.

Countertops take the heat, the spills, the knife nicks, and the coffee stains. And you want them to look good doing it.

At Distinctive Countertops & Cabinetry, we don’t just help you pick a material—we help you pick the right one for how you live. We’re here to make it easy, beautiful, and built to last.

Quality Countertop Materials You'll Find at Distinctive Countertops

We offer four premium materials—each one with its own personality. Here's what you need to know (and why you might love one over the others):

Quartz Countertops

Quartz is engineered for everyday life. It’s durable, nonporous, and easy to maintain. If you’re after clean lines, consistent color, and a surface that withstands spills and busy mornings without a second thought, this one checks all the boxes. Quartz comes in many patterns and colors, including options that mimic the elegance of marble.

Granite Countertops

There’s a reason granite has been a go-to for decades. It’s a natural stone that offers serious durability with rich, organic patterns you won’t find in manufactured options. Every slab is unique, and it holds up beautifully against heat, scratches, and daily wear. Granite delivers a sense of permanence and natural beauty that never goes out of style.

Marble Countertops

Marble is all about timeless elegance. Known for its signature veining and soft glow, it brings a level of sophistication that instantly redefines a space. While it’s more porous and requires a little extra care, many homeowners find that the aesthetic payoff is well worth it, especially in bathrooms, accent areas, or kitchens where design is the primary focus.

Quartzite Countertops

Quartzite gives you the best of both worlds—natural beauty and impressive strength. It resembles marble, with soft veining and an upscale appeal, but it’s far more durable. As a natural stone, quartzite holds up well in active kitchens while still offering the kind of high-end visual impact that turns heads.

Still not sure? That’s what our showroom is for. You can run your hand across every surface, see how the light hits it, and compare your options side-by-side.

Frequently Asked Questions About Countertops

  1. What’s the most durable countertop material you offer?
Quartz and quartzite are both excellent choices for durability. Quartz is nonporous and resists stains, scratches, and heat well. Quartzite is a natural stone that’s incredibly strong, offering both beauty and toughness for high-traffic areas like kitchens. Granite also does an excellent job, and we can tell you from experience that it is one of the longest-lasting materials.

  2. How do I choose between granite, marble, quartz, and quartzite?
It depends on how you use your space and what look you’re going for. Quartz is great for low-maintenance living, granite gives you natural character and strength, marble brings elegance (with a bit more upkeep), and quartzite offers marble-like beauty with more durability.

  3. How long does the countertop process take from start to finish?
Once you’ve selected your material, and we have all the details, including sink and appliance specifications, we move quickly. We’ll schedule a laser-accurate measurement, then handle in-house fabrication and professional installation. Timelines vary by project size, but we’re known for staying on track and keeping you updated along the way.
